They are just 100 gauss magnetic beads in a wrap or stretchy in most cases, the strength does not increase because their are more magnets it is quality not quantity in a magnet to stop your pain.

Yes you can measure your dogs or cats neck and pick out a design that would look atractive on your pet.I have tried it on my friend dog with arthritis and in a day the dog had very good results.
